The top two teams in this league went back and forth all session long waiting to find out who will finish on top. Going into the last week of play, the Paradise team only needed to win a couple of rounds to take first. The 2nd place team came out of Vern's on 44th and Wadsworth and finished well above the rest of pack. Top Shooters in this league are posted below showing how close that race was with Samm Diep taking 1st by only 1 game over Shawn and Bob. Top Shooter positions are determined by games won and a tie breaker would go to total points. Shawn and Bob tied in games and points and had to have a playoff match where Shawn took advantage and with very few mistakes won 3-0 in the tie-breaker, placing him in the 2nd place spot. The league end tournament was a race to 3 in the winners side and a brutal race to 2 on the left side. Jeff Evans played great to finish in 3rd, and Brandon Pate after defeating Jeff lost to Bob Winter in the finals to take 2nd. Congrats to ya and see ya next session.
