Over $7,000 was paid back in cash and prizes to the players and teams in this BCA Sanctioned League. Over $1,000 to the first place team and around $500 to the last place team. Most of these teams were along the I-70 corridor with only the Colorado Cue Club being off this beaten path. 10 teams, 18 weeks and $10 nightly dues helped add to the size of the paybacks where $175 was paid to the Top Shooters in the league. Watch for upcoming start dates for this league and give us a call if you would like to become part of this league. The spring session has already kicked off, but the fall session may be starting in late June. Check out the list of house in the results below if you need a place to play out of. The team “Longshots - Kong Dongs” played “Hard” and brought out the “Big Sticks” during the last half of this session as they managed a slow but steady increase in their distance between them and the 2nd place team from Sam’s bar on Kipling & I-70. Danny Kulp and his group played well but could not over come the spread to settle for 2nd. The top shooter race in this league was as close as any could get with most of the players playing every single week. Greg Kingsbury pulled a record of 70/90, Sid Martinez 69/90, Jacques Delao 67/90, with Danny Kulp right behind with a 65/90 record. Every week the players paid attention to the “who’s who” in the top shooter list. Betty Roldan playing out of the Y-Knot Lounge on Washington played every week and finished with a very respectable 35/90 win/loss record. Congrats to all of you for a great session. The league end tournament boasted 26 players looking for some extra cash. With this many players and only 6 hours to play the tournament we made the race a 2/2 race on both sides. Starting a little after 7:00 pm and only playing on 3 tables for the most of the night, we finished about 1:30 am. Congratulations to Craig Martin and Greg Kingsbury for outlasting the rest of the field and finishing 1st and 2nd in this tough tourney.
